After giving it some thought, here I am blogging about Kryptonite.ย ๐๐๐
I was exchanging messages this morning to my dear B friend (B as in Bravo, Beastly or ummmhh.. okay okay let me spit it out… Bully friend (LMAO)ย ๐ ๐คย Just kidding dear B!
B is actually my sidekick. You know like Bumble Bee to Optimus Prime. Yassss!!! You got that right! Obviously, I’m B1 & handsome-ish friend is B2. (ROFTL)ย ๐
Kryptonite.. Say Whut?!? ๐ญ
We all have our own Kryptonite (weakness, flaw, imperfection, weak spot, vulnerability, Achilles’ heel).
This could be a thing, a person, the weather, an illness, a sad memory, ย a traumatic experience, a physical condition and so on. Actually, it’s anything that makes you feel weak.
I kinda feel sappy today. Singing this song straight from the heartย ๐๐
I get so weak in the knees I can hardly speak.
I lose all control and something takes over me.
In a daze, your love’s so amazing, it’s not a phase.
I want you to stay with me, by my side.
I swallow my pride, your love is so sweet.
It knocks me right off of my feet.
I can’t explain why your loving makes me weak.
Who’s Your Kryptonite? ๐ค
This is an excerpt from Lang Leav’s poetry titled “Signposts” from one of her best selling book of poetry & prose Lullabies. Lang Leav’s evocative poetry speaks to the soul of anyone who is on this journey.
“Then there is the boy you can never stop thinking about. Whenever you see his name, it trips you up. Even if itโs one that belongs to many others, even if he belongs to someone else.
You know he is a symbol of your weakness, your KRYPTONITE. How he rushes in like wildfire and burns through everything you worked so hard to build since he last left you in ashes.”
